It has long been my goal to live life with no limits. It’s a vague concept without context. At different times in my life I have interpreted “no limits” to mean making a ton of cash, making sure I stayed single, or keeping my possessions to a minimum so I could be fluid and mobile at a moment’s notice.
This mindset carried over to decisions I made. There was a consistently appearing worry that if I would fully commit to a project or business venture, then while I was spending my time on it, I would miss out on something truly spectacular. This type of thinking kept me semi-involved in a lot of things. This need to be “limitless” left me always feeling there was not enough time in the day. My brain was always running close to its limit in the attempt to have no limits.
The law of attraction works to supply ideas, opportunities, and introductions. To bring those things to tangible form, you have to narrow your focus and allow the manifestation. Self-limitation leads to expansion. Your energy needs to be channeled consistently and repetitively in order to bear fruit.
After applying a new organization system, I realized I would never achieve the goals I had with all of my commitments and half-baked ideas. So I took the following steps –
1. Developed goals that I felt passionate about
2. Affirmations each day to support those goals
3. Visualizations to support those affirmations
4. Took actions to make sure my projects supported my goals
5. Review my project lists for the very next action I could take
6. Put the most important next actions on a list I carried around
7. Continued to keep my focus with my list of most important actions each day until they were done.
This “limitation” of my activities has led to the launch of www.TheMeditationMind.com. Forcing myself to stay focused on what I had identified as the most important activities related to my goals, I made consistent progress until the site launch today. I am looking forward to continued expansion through focus and limitation.
